Eileen Keane is a Newbridge writer, artist and founder member of the Leinster Printmaking Studio in Clane. She uses many techniques in her work including drypoint photopolymer etching and collagraph. She likes the rich textural and layering effects of collagraphs. Her current body of work is inspired by her walks in the woods and forest and her interest in the deeper rhythms of the landscape. She has exhibited all over Ireland, in Wales, England and South Australia with the LPS and was awarded the prize for excellence in printmaking at the ESU exhibition in N.C.A.D in June 2022.
