Situated beside Inis Gluaire, the inhabitants of that island had the grazing on Inishkeeragh – 30 acres of grass across a channel to the south. In 1855 Griffith’s Valuation showed that both islands were part of the Bingham Estate and that three families had grazing rights there. It is unlikely it was ever inhabited.
