Regina Richardson is a native of Dublin and now lives in Co. Kildare. A librarian by profession, her work with rare books and archives led her to the art of printmaking. After introductory courses at NCAD and Edinburgh Printmakers she came to hone her skills at Leinster Printmaking Studio. Currently engaged in textile studies, her inspiration comes from Japanese, Spanish and Irish sources, and from what lies in the interstices of everyday life. She has been a member of LPS since 2004, exhibiting in Ireland and Italy, and is a Fellow of the Library Association of Ireland.
